I don't post much but when I do it's very mediocre.
I'm working on a spec list of various track cars. My hope is that it is useful (how I'm not sure) for more than just my own use. The link is:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…
If anyone would like to use it or help me find some of the missing information please feel free. I have had a hard time getting some of the information. If you have anything to add please insert the information and the link so I can verify it as correct before I add it to the master copy. Everything in green has been double checked for the most part. Anything in yellow is questionable. For instance the Ariel Atom 3 comes with 1 piston brakes standard (brand unknown), however I think most people upgrade to the Alcon sets. I added that to the list price and updated the brake specs as such.
Edit: Some of the cars are very specific. An example is that the Ariel Atom 3 is the TMI version. There are a lot of variants of most of the cars listed so make sure that if you insert information it is from the correct version.

I think driving an Atom V8 is a bucket list item for me. Such a wonderfully insane piece of engineering.

Are you interested in any kit cars? Ultima GTR some of the Factory Five cars are pretty sweet.

I had a friend who's dad had an Ultima GTR. That car is insane. Preforms better than just about anything out there and the design is getting rather old now. I wish they would make the body a little more modern looking but I suppose that isn't the point.
The 818 was really appealing to me however they really went wrong on the exterior design. They had some great submissions for potential design and the best one was only the inspiration for the final design. Essentially they made it look far more bland to make it easier to produce. I'm sure a lot more people would have shelled out a couple thousand more it would have taken to make the body look credible. Right now it looks like a kit car, it didn't have to.

The Atom V8 is insane, wonderful piece of engineering, not quite. The Atom is not made to be the fastest thing in the world, it's made to be fun. The chassis isn't that well optimized from and engineering standpoint. It was designed by a kid in college how many years ago? Tube frame makes for a truly open cockpit fun experience. In my opinion for that price through it should be engineered a lot better. Right now it's a lot of expensive components attached to a semi competent chassis. If fun is what you want though your going to be hard pressed to beat it. A 620R will give it a run for the money though.

I agree. I think Jon Olsson sells the body kit he put on his. It looks pretty similar to the Audi R18.
